Connecting premium real estate, media, and British sporting heritage, BEYOND Developments added some signature flair to this prestigious showpiece

Royal Ascot has always been one of the most anticipated moments on the UK’s social calendar. It is where top sport, heritage, and high society converge in a uniquely British setting. Filled with glitz, glam, and somewhat outrageous headwear, it is always a massive talking point amongst the country’s socialites.

This year, BEYOND Developments touched down at the event to sprinkle a fresh layer of contemporary luxury to proceedings, hosting an immersive media experience that connected Dubai’s evolving lifestyle landscape with the engrained traditions of Ascot.

For Katch International’s founder Georgie Woollams, the week offered a front-row view of how thoughtfully curated hospitality can elevate brand storytelling on an international stage.

Royal Ascot as a Cornerstone of British Society

Royal Ascot is a cultural institution that reflects centuries of British tradition, where royalty, aristocracy, and global visitors converge in an environment defined by pageantry and precision. Since its establishment in 1711, though it has developed over the years, it has remained a symbol of continuity within the British social fabric.

Across five days each June, Ascot Racecourse transforms into a stage for spectacle, where formal dress codes, and elaborate millinery are as central to the experience as the racing itself. The Royal Enclosure, in particular, upholds a strict sense of etiquette that reinforces Ascot’s reputation as one of the most prestigious sporting events in the world (no shorts or flip flops to be found here).

This Year’s Royal Ascot Highlights

This year’s Royal Ascot played host to an unmistakable blend of elegance and eccentricity, with record crowds, standout fashion moments, and the familiar rhythm of royal procession setting the tone each day. Hats once again stole the spotlight, with sculptural showpieces and playful, statement-making designs to be seen around every corner, reinforcing Ascot’s reputation as the ultimate stage for millinery creativity. The atmosphere carried a renewed sense of energy, with guests embracing both tradition and creativity in equal measure, particularly through those bold sartorial choices and imaginative headwear that has become synonymous with the event.

BEYOND Developments at Royal Ascot

BEYOND Developments created a standout presence at Royal Ascot through a carefully designed hospitality and media programme that showcased its brand ethos of elevated living and experiential storytelling.

With a little bit of Katch magic behind the scenes, BEYOND hosted over a dozen leading media titles, including Hello!, Boat International, Robb Report, House of Coco, and Country & Town House. The experience mirrored the brand’s commitment to detail, beginning with seamless arrivals and continuing through to a fully curated journey inside the event.

A central feature of the activation was the BEYOND Express, a bespoke experiential space that transported guests into the brand’s world. It offered an immersive narrative that connected Dubai’s forward-thinking lifestyle vision with themes of wellness, design, and nature-led living, reinforcing BEYOND’s positioning as a developer focused on experience as much as architecture.

Inside the Royal Enclosure, guests watched the royal procession from the BEYOND box, an exclusive vantage point that placed the brand at the heart of Ascot’s most iconic moment. The activation extended beyond viewing, incorporating live creative elements such as on-site sketching, which produced personalised keepsakes, including binoculars for the races and a stylish fan, perfect for keeping cool amidst the excitement, and generated strong engagement throughout the week.

Bridging Dubai and the United Kingdom

The BEYOND presence at Ascot demonstrated a clear cultural bridge between the United Kingdom and Dubai, uniting two destinations defined by heritage, ambition, and a shared appreciation for refined experiences. It helped to showcase how Dubai is not only a hub for contemporary luxury real estate but also a global lifestyle destination shaping how modern living is experienced and communicated.

BEYOND Developments and its Masterplans

BEYOND Developments continues to expand its footprint through a series of landmark masterplans across Dubai and beyond. Its portfolio spans destinations designed around nature, wellness, and community-led living, including large-scale coastal and urban environments that prioritise connection and quality of life.

Its developments boast a consistent design philosophy centred on lush green spaces, fluid indoor-outdoor living, and architectural harmony. Projects such as its waterfront vision in Dubai Maritime City and emerging masterplans like Evermore and Passo highlight the brand’s ambition to redefine premium residential living through immersive environments rather than standalone properties.

Under the wider umbrella of OMNIYAT GROUP, BEYOND carries forward a legacy of design excellence and innovation, positioning itself as a key player in shaping the next chapter of luxury real estate in the region.

BEYOND Developments’ presence at Royal Ascot captured the essence of modern luxury storytelling: immersive, considered, and deeply experiential. The brand successfully translated its vision of elevated living into a live environment that resonated with international media and guests alike.

For Georgie Woollams, the experience reinforced the power of blending cultural heritage with forward-looking brand narratives, creating moments that extend far beyond the event itself and into wider global conversations around lifestyle, design, and real estate. She said of the experience, “Overall, it was a week filled with elegance, excitement, and unforgettable moments. I can’t wait to relive this experience and see what BEYOND will unveil next.”

As the curtain draws on another year at Royal Ascot, preparations are already beginning for next year’s spectacle. So in the meantime, stay tuned for more adventures, and perhaps we’ll see you at Ascot next year.
